It’s a unique annual event that sees the Darwin and communities all over the Northern Territory celebrate the day they become a territory of self government, they celebrate in style with spectacular fireworks displays.
It takes over 6 months of planning, a team of 25 pyrotechnicians, a 40′ container load of fireworks and a road-train trailer load of equipment for Howard & Sons Pyrotechnics to present 14 fireworks displays on the 1st July in remote communities, towns, the city’s of Alice Springs and largest display in Darwin.
At 7.30pm on Monday night the skies over Mindil Beach will be glittering brightly with a 20minute pyromusical simulcasts on 104.1FM Territory, with a brilliant array of pyrotechnics erupting from 16 positions spread along the beach and a barge floating out in Darwin harbour.
