Canberra celebrated its centenary in spectacular style with a huge fireworks display fired from barges on Lake Burley Griffin and the unique nation’s capital mountain axis points to produce a beautiful Canberra 100 finale.
Australia’s largest annual event, the Sydney Royal Easter Show, featured a new night time spectacular ‘Darcy’s Quests’ with pyrotechnics and new special effects including pyro-kites and live pyro-performers designed and produced by the Howard & Sons Pyrotechnics crew.
The NRL season was launched with a flurry of flutter-fetti at the new event centre at The Star and then real action on the field got heated with our impressive flames to enhance atmosphere at the Sydney Roosters night games.
In Adelaide the Festival got off to a colourful start with a dazzling display presented on the River Torrens and we lit up that stage for the Hill Top Hoods at the Clipsal 500.
In Melbourne the annual Moomba Festival closed each night of the long weekend of festivities with a brilliant pyromusical erupting from floating pontoons along the Yarra River and the Rebels Rugby team have been running onto the field through a glittering tunnel of glittering pyrotechnics for all their home games at Skilled Stadium.
