Howard & Sons Pyrotechnics presented the ‘Colours of Kakadu’ pyromusical performance at the 2011 Montreal International Fireworks Competition.
This was truely a unique live pyromusical perfromance blooming from the wilderness of Australia’s Top End, ‘The Colours of Kakadu’ took the audience on a magical journey of pyrotechnic colour and rhythm. As eMDee distintive didgeridoo tones and percussive beats echoed across the lake and pyrotechnic stars painted the entire sky line and illuminated the lake to replicate the wild scenery and seasons of the famous Kakadu national park.
The crowd were amazed with Stuart Bensley’s amazing pyromusical show design, showing their appreciation with numerous raptures of applause throughout the 30minute performance. The colourful and intense grand finale brought the entire audience to their feet for a standing ovation.
Howard & Sons Pyrotechnics crew of Andrew Howard, Stuart Bensley, Mark Petkidis, Shayne Lewis & Jorgen Enevoldsen worked onsite at La Ronde for 5 days to set up the display with the hard working La Ronde 15 x experienced pyrotechnicians who work on every visiting international teams display each year at the competition.

I would really like to personally thank all the hard working Le Ronde pyrotechnicians who work with us each day on the ramps to set up the show, they all work so hard all day long and we couldn’t produce our show without their hard work and professional approach to the art of fire. They are a great team to work with and I thank them for all their hard work to make our show the spectacle it was.”
